ÖBB Bike - How it works
With ÖBB Bike you can book, rent and return bikes around the clock, seven days a week. All you need is a smartphone and a credit card.
From train and bus straight onto the bike!
Our first three locations of ÖBB Bike are in Kufstein, Wörgl, Matrei am Brenner, Kirchberg in Tirol and Baden bei Wien. All our Bike Lounges are near the train station, so you can hop off the train or bus straight onto your bike.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call us under: +43 (0)51717 2100.
Note: You may be charged for calling this hotline, the amount depends on your phone provider. ÖBB does not charge any additional costs.
Book, rent and return - in just a few clicks
We have trekking and mountain bikes in sizes S, M and L available around the clock. These are with or without motor and some also have luggage racks, lighting and mudguards. Please pay attention to the equipment when booking. If you need a helmet, you can borrow one on site.
To book, download the Wegfinder App in your Appstore (Google Play or Apple Store). You'll need a bluetooth enabled smartphone and credit card to book. Access to the Bike Lounge is via QR code. To rent a bike, simply unlock the bike reserved for you using your mobile phone. Don't forget to indicate your desired location when booking.
Our locations are Kufstein, Kirchbers, Baden bei Wien and Wörgl, right next to the train stations or close by. This means you can transition from public transport to your bike and back again without any hassle. As of spring 2023 there will also be a location in Baden bei Wien.
